Just wanted to give you an FYI
The med altenol is a calcium channel blocker,,, and has proven quite helpful in controling CH.
Also lithium is now considered the "drug of Choice" for chronic CH.. and is effective in 70-80% of cases. Are you sure you tried it long enough? You need to take it at for at least 2-3 weeks, and have blood tests done to be sure you have reached a theraputic level. Ask your new Dr about prednisone and O2... they can help alot.
