If you have no e-mails selected then it won't give you "select all" but if you select ONE e-mail, (make it blue) then hit "view" again, "select all" highlights. This is with Outlook express.
Otherwise, do what bob said and select the bottom one and scroll to the top, hold down shift and select the top one and hit delete. Also, you might have to do that screen by screen if one of them won't delete. Then you'll find the offending one :)
Hope that helps, although by now you probly got it figured out.
