OK news on Connor.. This nuerologist he seen today said he thinks Connor has migraines (diagnosis # 4) and he wants him off the imitrex because of the side effects. She wants him to go on Periactin for a preventitive and even wanted me to wait and put him on it AFTER he started getting the heachaches again. I was like no I DO NOT think so, he has been through enough pain and im not going to wait. So please give me your opinions.. this sucks.. every nuerologist says a different thing!!! This idiot wanted me to not use ANY abortives and just wanted me to being him to the hospital when he had his headaches.. I said well thats kinda hard seeing by the time we get to the hospital and they see him and triage and a doc actually sees him, the headache is gone. Even through all his screaming they still take their time in getting to him.. And when he has 4 headaches a day, am I suppose to run to the hospital every time?? She couldnt tell my why he only gets them at certain times of the day or certain months.. she said well migrains are unpredictible.. ok so he gets a headache at 5 every morning and noon at 6:30 for no explainable reason?? She had no answers for all my questions.. when am I going to get the right answers????????
