Hello, I've been away for a while, but not because my sons headaches are gone. Just needed a few weeks to pretend that everything was o.k. After all, my Bennett is down to only one major attack a day, and sometimes we're lucky and skip a day. I can almost live with that, considering where we came from.(8 to 10 a day) I still have not seen neurologist in over a year, and have not put Bennett on any meds. since. There were some scares...lower back pain and severe bruising on Periactin. I've come to realize, that shit doesn't even work on clusters. I still believe that my son was not born with this problem, but somehow, somewhere, it was caused by something. Maybe his difficult birth, where he almost didn't survive, or the congunctivitis that left his left eye noticeably smaller; left side being the side of his clusters. I know that many of you didn't have these things happen to you, but I know there is an explenation for all of this, and I will find it. I think we've done good so far, because my son doesn't have other problems connected to medication. We can see the small changes with all of the other things we have tried, we can see that he is doing better, and hopefully, my son will live a long happy life because we've chosen this alternative path. I hope "the devil" isn't playing me for a fool. I'm still planning on taping my son having a cluster, but I'm waiting for a 9 or 10 kip. I don't want anyone mistaking this for anything other than what it is. They are attacks in his head, not headaches! Anyone else done some film making lately?
