Surgery for cluster relief?

I heard that it is possible to relieve cluster headaches surgically. A surgical nurse told me that it requires minor nerve work and can be done in fifteen to thirty minutes. I haven't pasted this by my doctor yet. Is anyone familar with such a procedure?
