Problems with spelling the odd word, or being foreign - incidentally Yoke remember I'm foreign here - are not the problem. Lazy and sloppy expression are, and betoken not only lazy and sloppy thinking but rank bad manners.
As you so rightly say:
communication requires one trying to transfer and another recieving thoughts or ideas.
That implies effort on both parts - the one to express himself clearly, the other to read around problems.
