Thank you for being there for your friend - you have no idea how much help you are being to her just by understanding and listening to her. Have you witnessed her having an attack? If not, it will probably be best to ask her what she would like you to do if she has an attack while you are there. Some people like to have some one to talk at (not to) when they're having an attack, other people like to be left alone. If she starts screaming and swearing at you during an attack, please don't take it personally, she doesn't mean it. Supporters like you are really important - thank you.
