Yes, we're okay up here in Germantown, which is 100 miles north of the city. However, the apartment we lived in when we moved from the city is exactly two blocks from the World Trade Center, and we went through the last bombing there first-hand, and it was a nightmare.
I have many friends and relatives in NYC, so of course we're terrified, frankly.
