our local air force base is closed to civilian employees, and only Air Force personnel and medical patients are allowed on site. The local National Guard, here, is on "Stand-by", sittin' around, most likely, waiting for word on what to do next. They have not been deployed. They have not been called into active duty... they just gotta sit around and wait. Most likely, you'll hear from him in a day or two.
