Then this afternoon, I had my canvass shopping bag searched. Almost all the school children are looking over their shoulders. I realize our lives have changed. I hope we use some common sense and handle this with skill. Frankly, I'd like to see us take our time and use such surgical precision that it scares the shit out of them. The world isn't, and never was, a safe place. Every now and then the universe makes a concerted effort to kill us. Sometimes we do it ourselves. That is unforgiveable. Handle this with care, but handle it.
