Same old story, neurologist retired, I have a new doctor. I had been doing the 1200 mg lithium for the 3 months I'm on cycle twice a year. Doctor says she wants me to phase off the lithium as soon as I have 2 headache free weeks. Those of you who are episodic, I've learned my series lasts 10-12 weeks so I've been staying on Lithium for 12 weeks. Anyone else have a doctor who claims lithium will break a cycle early? Wants you to phase off as soon as you go headche free for 2 weeks?
Also, she wants me to try depakote next series, like Jonny, I like my lithium cuz it works, anyone switched from lithium to Depakote? Better, worse, no change??? As always, thanks and i love you guys...(and gals!)
