Hi M.I.K., et al,

I've been away from the board for a painfree long time. Tragedy makes us seek out family so i came to visit. My heart goes out to my extended family in this dark time.

The Phantoms, are also knows as Shadows.. that is to say, the cluster was a shadow of his former self. The minor pain is felt in the exact same spots where we experience the real thing in a full cluster.

Quote <<quality, it is as if somebody were pumping hot water through your Carotid. Your artery is aching
from the base of your neck to your eye socket. Two or more teeth hurt, your cheek bone and
especially your temple area are very sensitive to the touch.>>> Quoted from above text

After cluster pain left me alone for awhile i experienced a burning in the carotid artery.. just like the old days. After seeing a doctor and having my neck xrayed it appeared that the burning sensation like lava coming up the pipe , was a nerve conflict in a narrow part of the spine. To correct this burning sensation i started doing a neck realignment that would look much like the woodpecker pulling his head back in preparation to strike the tree. (The result is to bring the head gravitaionally directly above the shoulders and stop the pulling of the muscles of the back)

Hopefully this bit of info might help one person with one piece of their puzzle,

Painfree days a'head all,

Brian W
