I got off work at 8 o'clock this morning. When I got home I found my wife with tears in her eyes and making out a check as a donation to the rescue workers in New York and Washington.
There was a telethon on a local TV station taking pledges. They had just aired a phone call from a 6 year girl that had pledged 5 dollars. The young lady said she got a dollar each day to buy a treat at school to go with her lunch. She said she didn't need the treat each day and wanted the money to buy a treats for the workers. God bless the children.
When I came to look in on CH.com this evening I read arguing, name calling and bitter words over petty shit.
Please excuse my language. I'm sad tonight.
