Hiya - I also love the taste of beer!
I remember when I first started getting headaches I went without beer for about 6 months. Hated it cos I would go to pubs and try different drinks (alcoholic) to see what would/wouldn't give me a headache.
It turned out that whatever I would normally drink (before CH's) gave me less of a headache than new drinks due to my previous tolerance of them.
I therefore decided to stop beer (seemed to give more headaches quicker than any other drink) and just stick with strong whiskey/bourbon (with coke or lemonade) as was a small amount of liquid to drink.
Margharita's (another fav of mine) was ok for the same reason.
Because of this - I very rarely drank anything due to the varying headaches, until a friends mother offered me a pain killer that she used for her period pains, "ProPain"!
I had one and in about 10 minutes my headache was gone & I could go out and drink a load of beer and still felt okay when I got home/woke up.
My tolerance of this pain killer is growing over time though unfortunately.
