i'm 23 but i get the same. about 2-3 a day sometimes 5-6 days a week. verapamil seems to work the best allowing only a few breakthrough every few weeks. but that was the summer. now it 's the fall who knows what will happen. i'm also off my verapamil because of an allergic reaction to a new form so now i'm back to the old form but it takes a week or so to kick in. needless the say the past week has been hell! but i've only suffered for about two years. can't believe they started with you at age 8! anyway it's hard being 23 and dealing with this . social life has taken a toll. if you want to chat feel free to email me. i'm in nyc if you're anywhere near there. best of luck. talk to your neuro about verapamil and about oxygen for the attacks. good luck
