Hi Bob,
I check in on the boards everyday still, just been very busy with OUCH projects, some personal issues, changes in CH routine, etc.
Annette had to be taken to ER last week, and watched over for a few days. Turns out she damaged an eardrum and had some inner ear bleeding, causing severe vertigo. She is getting better day by day.
We should have some printable forms up soon at OUCH site. One an Employer letter from OUCH explaining Cluster Headaches and how they can work together with their CH employee.
Another is an ER visit form. We thought we were done with that, but a concern has arised and we're addressing that now. Want to make sure whatever we do is the best we can to meet the needs of OUCH members and other CH sufferers. We'll get that resolved quickly and have it, or two more forms up soon.
I haven't been posting lately, but have read every post. Think I'm a bit saddened to see so much arguing going on, and am doing my best to bite my tongue (or fingers). I remember a time on this board when it was okay to have a different opinion, and it could be debated. Now, it seems emotions are high and a lot of posts are misunderstood or just plain attacked with so much anger. When a 14 year old girl is brought into the middle of an arguement, almost makes me cry. If this girl doesn't suffer enough with her fathers CH, why does she have to see all the arguing here? For her sake alone, I wish all parties involved would drop that problem, it doesn't matter who is right or wrong. One young girl is going to be hurt all the more until it stops.
I love to see all the patriotism, the uniting of people from across the world, but still hope we can see and think more clearly when a post might be misunderstood.
As you know, I've strongly opposed any type of censorship here, but I hoped in my mind we were responsible enough to censor ourselves as we write.
Thought my CH was just about gone, this is about the fifth time I'd thought so, but it just won't go away. My normal 3 month cycle is now approaching 8 months, but I fight it everyday, it will not beat me.
Will be seeing my neuro again today, I'll use the chance to get her input on the ER form from another doctors position.
So I'm still here, just busy. Stay well my friend, I'll be posting again soon.
Dave
