That's what happened to my husband, shortly after he started taking it. I think it worked for him for one prescription (six pills at the time), but the next one didn't touch it.
He's had much better luck with oxygen and ice. He's in his longest remission ever because of shrooms, but he was also able to break a really brutal cycle using the water treatment. I think both therapies work better, however, on folks who aren't on other meds.
