Norm, you need to search the old posts under verapamil
to get a real feel for how this med is used.
Some take it all the time. Some take it as a breaker only
and taper off once they're sure the cycle has ended.
A lot of these meds apparently have lessened effectiveness
with prolonged usage. Verapamil absolutely broke
my husband's cycle in 1996. He continued taking it
because we thought that it was a preventative. HAs
came back 2 years later. Was it really a preventative or
was it a natural remission? Don't know.
