On the other hand, some compounds that are very closely related to LSD do NOT work nearly as well. Methysergide (Sansert), for example, was developed by Sandoz in the hopes that it would provide the same relief to sufferers of vascular headaches as LSD does, but without giving the hallucinogenic side-effects.

I am here to tell you that while Sansert is not as potent as LSD, it is DEFINITELY psychoactive at high enough doses. Unfortunately, as too many people on this site will confirm, while Sansert may help some migraineurs, it does not work for very many clusterheads, and it CERTAINLY will not terminate a cluster cycle with a single dose as LSD will.

This is not to say that LSA won't, however. I think it is definitely worth investigating further, and I thank you for bringing it to our attention.
