Different things work for different people.
Many are positive about the imitrex injections.
If you are wary of getting too much into your system, or are not getting enough injections to get by, look at the Imitrex tip, left to the top of the message board.
You do not say what you have tried before... Most people seem to agree that otc pain killers do nothing to stop cluster pain.
But Have you tried Oxygen?
Have you tried it at an outflow rate of at least 7l. per minute and preferably 10 per minute? With the correct (non rebreather) mask?
O2 is a great abortive for manuy people, episodic AND chronic.
If you are not on meds any more, you might try the water times 3 tip (also left of the top of the board).
In general, it pays to research those buttons and also to use the search facility.
