Many times in the past when I have taken a preventative, it simply delays the headaches. And when they do come, they are worse than ever. Is verapamil any different? Do I need to take it continuously? My clusters generally pass after three weeks and then will not return for 16 months. I might prefer to hunker down with my oxygen tank and get it over!
