This last cycle has been the longest in 10 years, it lasted 8 months and I began to suspect that 'chronic' was the next word for me. During such a long period of time, after the 3rd. month, I also began to experience the not so common 'change of sides', in such a way that left and right sides alternate every night, and of course the whole back of my head or complete head, also entered in pain when sides were, let's say, quiet. The level of pain was never less that 7 (KS) and the average number of attacks were 3, always at night. During the process of such a long cycle, I thought many times that if this was a cycle instead of a change to chronic condition, may be this was a change for good, who knows ?. Finally the cycle ended one month ago, no shadows, nothing at all. After the 4th. month of the cycle I reduced all kind of medicine, and I also tried to sleep as much as I could. I'm now completely out of normal year-cycle schedule, which normally began this month. The Doctor tried everything, the pain left when it decided to do so. I'll see now if I won some extra pain free time or when and what comes next.
