It is possible that you are developing a tolerance for psilocybin.

But I agree with Annemarie. I think the most likely explanation is that this last batch of mushrooms was just less potent than previous ones. There are many factors involved in potency levels in mushrooms. In extreme cases there can actually be as much as a TEN TIMES the level of psilocybin found in specimens of the same species. While this variation is rare, especially in the case of cultivated mushrooms, it would not surprise me at all to hear of one batch of Psilocybe cubensis being twice as strong as another, even if both batches came from the same grower.

One way to ensure a relatively stable level of potency is to grow your own. That way YOU control the variables. It is also cheaper than buying them, easy to do, and a lot of fun, besides.

I know you live in Holland. I know of an excellent cultivator in Holland who is one of the most widely respected people in the business. If you like, you can e-mail me and I will let you know how to get in touch with him. He is a great guy with a five star reputation, and I am sure he would be delighted to assist a clusterhead.
