This was posted a while ago but needs repeating. Here is something we can do that can really make a difference. Teri and MAGNUM are collecting information about headache patients who have had thier meds rationed by the insurance companies. I've offered OUCH's help in this effort. Please follow the link and enter your info if you've had this problem. Here is what they plan to do with the info:
Your folks can use the comments section to report problems with insurance
companies limiting things other than triptans.
Please assure everyone that I'm going to publish the names of the insurance
companies and what they're doing, but that patient identities WILL BE
PROTECTED. Patient names will NEVER be published or shared with anyone.
What we plan to do is ask the insurance companies for comments. Then we're
going to look at our data, and contact state insurance commissioners and
attorneys general. If we don't make any progress on the state level, we're
prepared to approach member of Congress for assistance in getting insurance
limitations abolished.
