That welding 02 and medical 02 may be the same(and its is I know for fact)the tanks are not. Med 02 tanks are far more cleaner than welding tanks because they are inspected on a yearly basis, welding tanks are only checked for leaks.
If you get a tank at the gas supply house that looks old dont use it, for sure it will be full of rust and other shit and always be sure to use a water bubbler.
If your using welding 02 for CH your in it for the long haul so consider buying a new tank that way you know what your breathing, I have two brand new 60 ci tanks each costing $180.......you will need a custom regulator to fit these tanks (anyone needing help with this let me know) because the connections between medical and welding are different.
