It would have been nice if the anonymous poster of April 12 of this year had followed through with his promise to keep us updated of his progress with DXM. To the best of my knowledge, he did not. We don't know how long a remission he achieved with his first dose of DXM, or how often it is necessary to redose to stay CH-free.
Here is a link to an excellent article detailing potential long-term damage from abuse of dissociative anesthetics. Read it ALL before making any decisions on DXM use.
From the information contained in this article, it would appear that taking a single, fairly high dose of DXM at widely-spaced intervals may not be particularly dangerous, but that there are serious risks associated with continuous use.
