His everyday headaches are like 24 hour migraines. In the 21 days of his cycle, they never let up. The everyday headache is really centered on the right side of his head and extends down to his neck. There's very little eye-stab pain associated with the everyday headaches and he can actually sleep without having them wake him up.

He has an attack at 5:30 a.m. and again around 5:00 p.m. With this cycle, the attack only lasts about 5 minutes (they're typically 20 minutes in length) and then it's back to the everyday headache with a 4-5 rating. The attack consists of excruciating eye-stab pain, congestion, and a bloody nose.

It's really the day-in, day-out headache that prevents him from functioning.

He's on 480 mg of Verapamil.

Thanks Donna!
