My neuro asked me to try it also since I did not repsond well to the "older" anti-epileptic drugs (AED's). My neuro said that the newer AED's had a different chemical make-up and worked in a slightly different way. I tried Topamax (25 mg) for 3 nights and my legs started to ache but that does not mean you will have the same response. A good patient is an informed patient. Perhaps other people have had better success. Good luck and I hope something works. Sam
