If you read all of the H2O Dog's post you may have stumbled over a few of mine opposing this approach, I reached a point where after 30+ years I was ready to try anything to get the Demon under control and ended up on Oxy Contin and 40mg every 12 hrs havent had a cluster in months. First time in over 30 years on an average of at least 7 attacks a day, so I for one had a complete reversal of the thought process and Mike had a god deal with the decision to at least try, Pain is a hard way to live and a harder way to be fading away from life with my other ailments, Guilt in now my Demon of the moment and it has almost won as I'm very close to going back on the Drug Free approach, but strictly due to guilt! It has change my whole life for the past several months and I probably had one of the hardest hardline positions on it of anyone on the board, I'm not so small that I can admit I was "Wrong" It personal choice and a hard one to make but now I support either position if it helps, My clusters are from severe head trauma,no doubt in my mind so it may be why nothing else has worked? Just my 2 cents worth Pappy
