Those phantom headaches can sometimes go for hours with nothing happening. Sometimes they have lasted all day with no cluster headache until after I have fallen asleep. I have tried using oxygen to see if it would prevent them or prevent having one in the middle of the night.Had a cluster at 2:20 am this morning. Took the oxygen immediately when I woke. It prevented a full blown one and was gone after 20 minutes.Dennis
