the vessel behind the eye (I forget what it's called). Dr. Wright demonstrated that by trying to divert circulation from the head (I should rewrite this part) by consciously "feeling" or willing more circulation to the hands or other extremities, the amount of pressure in the cranial vessels is slightly lessened. This isn't easy but it's not something ethereal or psychic. It takes LOTS of concentration to maintain this. Once you let up, it's very hard to restart this process. It's hard to do this with pain but when it works, it's often sudden. It feels like the pain just drains away. I know it sounds odd but look at your hand and try to force more circulation. It will get warmer and redder. It's damned hard work, but it often aborts or shortens the attack. There is no exercise. You should be able to do this to some degree very quickly. I hope you have some luck. Here are two success emails from my file. The second one is a little odd but if it works, great! I was sort of surprised. They usually come in the early s.m. & I have no patience then! Going to see my Doc. on Monday,we'll see.I still get 2 a day & my Ins. will approve only 16 shots per 30 days. I heard about the cool floor idea, sounds logical.Your method reminds me of a relaxation technique I learned years ago to help me sleep. I tell each body part to relax as I lie in bed. I repeat until I "feel" that part become heavy. It actually works. I've taught others how to use it & most have tried it with success. I don't need it often.now.I have received other emails from CH members. The support is great.Just getting the words out helps, as I'm sure you know. Knowing others are out there & care, making contact. I appreciate your help. You know, the 2 times it worked, I could "see" the bad blood, as I call it, fly out of my right fingertips, & then the pain was gone. The mind is a powerful tool.Best wishes,Jenny Hawkins?Tulsa, Ok. '
