Sorry to hear your story buddy, but one thing that you can be sure of , you have found the best support group for this malady. No one gets it except fellow sufferers. Even the nuerologists don't get it. Next time a cycle appears speak to your doctor about imitrex, I am using it at the moment for the first time and it does bring the demon as we call it, down after 10 or 15 minutes. i am using the nasal spray and tablets, but most clusterheads on the messageboard speak highly of the injected form.
i will go for that next time. I have never found anything to prevent the attacks, but this is the first drug that I have taken that stops the pain after a short period. I don't want to jinx it, as I am in my first week of a cycle that normally lasts 6 weeks.
