I just thought it would be nice to have a little history of the site on tap.
I see people posting that they came here something like 7 years ago and other people saying they couldn't...
A brief history would settle any dispute.

Plus, it would be a nice boost - and I don't mean boast, though DJ has earned the right to boast away - if we could direct newbies to a little place that told them for how long, and how many posts and people from how many continents... etc.
