Anyway, I have always had episodic (Ha! I new I'd remember that darn word) cycles. Usually a few months long every one or two years since I was (?!) 22 or so? Jeeez... where is my memory at? The longest remission was probably two years. Just before this last cycle.---
This last cycle has not ended as usual after a few months, though it did diminish insofar as peak pain levels and consistency and frequency somewhat anyway(I attribute this to shrooms). It is still going pretty strong though, guessing about six months? Cannot remember.---
I too would be curious to hear about others experiences with longer than usual cycles. What does it mean when they are longer? How do you know if you've become a chronic sufferer?---
Ah. Well, as far as hope. It ain't gonna kill you, though it may feel that way sometimes. You can survive it. You will survive it. As an example, I whine a bit now and then but I have survived til now (32) with little or no medications or treatment(Shrooms twice). It takes some kind of determination and a lot of gutting it out but you can do it. If your a CH'er, your a tough hombre. No question---
