Many thanks to Mike B, Nancy C,hedferst & Sue for your suggestions. Sorry I was so vague before.
My demons started in about 1989 and would cycle in and out every couple of years. In 1998 I had a stroke(Dr.s think maybe a correlation??), they have been chronic and intractable since that day. The severity seemed to have dissipated somewhat over the last 6-9 months and life was grand!! I actually had a life and could enjoy it with minimal meds. I still got them every single day -- but I survived!
The reason I did not list meds or treatments before is that I think I've about tried everything(i.e. last count 132 different meds tried).
Went to the Neuro yesterday and he wants to try me on "Keppra"(sp.?). It is the same class as Topomax but with less side effects. Keep your fingers crossed and pray!!!
