I was in a cycle when I got pregnant and the doctor said it was okay to stay on verapamil while I was pregnant and nursing. Verapamil is a preventive and takes about 2 weeks to take effect. But, if you do have clusters, it can get rid of them. Oxygen and icepacks can help too.
