my fiance is a 32 yr old make that was diagnosed approx 3 weeks ago after having had pain since may. he was taking topamax (not sure mg, but 4 pills per day) and they did not touch him! now he is taking amitrip 5x/day, not seem to be doing anything. the only thing stopping the pain temporarily is the stadol nasal spray. he has 3-6 per day on a daily basis. he is starting to get depressed because he is not working, but most of all cannot handle the pain any longer. and its wearing on me too! i know there is no solid answer, but....how do we get through this??????????????? when will it stop???? i am very happy to have found this website.
