I tried it a few years ago. Took 1 mg melatonin 1 hour before going to bed. It reduced the frequency of attacks with about 25% in my case, but stopped working after 3 months.
This was a time released pill. When I switched to the non time released pills, they made the CH worse. Go figure :)
But I experimented with "upping" melatonin levels and that is ( in my case) not the magic bullet, but it might be for others though.....
