I have mentioned this before, when I get a cluster,a lot occurinjg at jnight time, I do the same thing, once I realize I'm not just dreaming that I'm getting a cluster and I actualy have one it already a full blown 9, I head to the shower in the dark, the thing I do different is that I use the cold water, I stand with the shower curtian draped across my chest and tucked into the back of my Jammie's so I donj't get entirely wet and run the cold water as hard as it will come out only on the affected side, just about the time I can feel the white hot flash coming it starts to feel like my heart is going to stop, my tendon that runs up the right side of my neck tic's and I get the white flash, all these things seem to occur simotaniously and I sometimes feel like this might be the end about to happen and My wife will find me in the cold shower, stone cold,l but so far it has not happened. the white flash is a common occurance when I'm in the grips of a 9-10kipper which in my case is %98 of the time,or was, since I have been taking the 40mg of oxy-contin I have had 5 breakthrough atacks and 4 of the 5 happened as a result of dreaming about the attacks!
I nContin has worked for me so well but it's going into the 5th month now I think, 4th for sure and none of the old triggers have affected me at all! Pretty much tried everyother known treatment approach with no help at all! I'm concidering trying the shrooms except I hate that type of feeling the drug it might cause!
