was because it worked in the ER yesterday when Demerol and Phenergan made the CH worse. I don't know Karen, but none of the doctors seem to care all too much that what they are prescribing is addictive. As you might know from my previous post I CARE if they are or not. I am trying to get on a preventative and abortive that will take care of the pain but IS NOT addictive, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere with this DESPITE the fact that I keep telling them I don't want to be on narcotics or anything that is potentially addictive. The ER doc told me yesterday that droperidol sometimes breaks a migraine cycle (yes, he knew I had clusters) and maybe it would work - it did, but don't know why and I think the neuro said that Norflex was very similar but less risky than the droperidol...
