First of all, Shane described his ha's as "pulsating". CH is steady, relentless, not pulsating or throbbing.
Next, the IHS criteria for CH includes at least one of a series of associated symptoms - runny or stuffed nose, drooping eyelid, etc. Shane mentioned none of them, with the possible exception of the inability to remain still (although I can't recall if that is actually on the IHS list).
All in all, they don't sound much like clusters to me, although I agree that Shane needs to see a neuro. I'd guess tension-type ha's, but I'm about as much of a doc as Robert Young.
