Here's a quote from Uelli's post on verap.

"The pain signal re-enforce (in a way not entirely clear to me) the wrong signal to expand the vessels, and this positive feedback is responsible for the extremely fast raise of an attack."

If Uelli is correct, an OTC painreliever might block those first pain signals and thus prevent an attack.

I ( and I know there are other clusterheads too ) can confirm Shanes story! If you catch an attack soon enough, paracetamol can prevent it from building up. But only if you do it at the first precursor signs.......
( I quit using OTC stuff though, because I was unable to catch enough attacks early enough to give it a good succes rate )

So Shane, you can have CH, despite of the OTC stuff helping you sometimes, but a neuro should diagnose it.

PFDAN's

Henk
