Charles do you have this popping sensation during an attack of the pain?? I too have that popping sensation, although mine is more like a "cracking"I get the sharp shooting pain "DRill" down into the top of my head too and it meets up with another 'drill' thats drilling my ear out - they meet in the eyeball!! After a 10/10 I feel as if someone has hammered a stake into the top of my head and another up my jaw into my eye - and I still have that cracking sensation for an hour or so. Great eh!!
