how do you feel on this? I have tremors (I know this was expected), but feel like I'm on another planet - not "with it". I ask my wife to drive most places because I don't feel like I have the attention level to drive safely. I wake up with a hangover-type feeling. I don't feel steady in the shower. I can't type accurately anymore (which is essential when I do my work at hospitals). I do everything slower. I feel like I've lost some grey matter between the ears, but yet I'm cheerful (sort of like who they describe demented people in medical records - "plesantly confused" but not this bad - I HOPE!). Yesterday I went to the hospital and had blood drawn for my lithium level. Still getting the headaches, but for the most part they're less intense than before lithium. Neuro gave me a script for Amerge yesterday, but apparently there is still some risk for someone with my family history and my hypertension in taking it. Headache will have to be pretty bad for me to resort to this because I certainly don't want my coronary arteries constricting!
