I believe in the Lord and believe he has his reasons for allowing this to afflict some of us. I don't know what they are and I can't even begin to guess. All I know is I've got to keep faith. I too would like to know why on some things. Not just CHs but other things as well, and one day I will ask but for now we got to keep getting by day by day. I can't say that I know your pain completely. I guess I'm a fortunate one, I only get episodes, and I can go months between with relief. My heart feels for you, man. I know it's rough. You are obviously a stong individual, you've got to keep pushing ahead. I don't know what else to tell you except come on here and vent if you need to. Everyone here seems to understand. If it helps than I say keep doing it. As for your girlfriend, don't worry about her. Like you said you are young. You'll find the right one someday. One who understands and is willing to stay with you. I didn't meet my wife till I was 27. There are people on this board who seem to be willing to help in any way they can. Have some faith and keep some hope in that. Chin up bud.
