i am currently on predisone 10 mg four times a day decreaing to one a day over a four week period of time along with malt axt if i feel the pain coming- problem is the pain comes when i am asleep and the damn package takes arocket scientist to open. last night i stayed up till i could not stay awake any longer and the beast did not come- i prayed for the first ime in three years. i hade c6 c7 cervical fusion surgery on 28/2001 and was pain free for 18 months till two weeks ago- my surgeaon states that my neck is getting worse in three other areas and they put me on vioxx which has releived about 80 % of the symptoms- they are addressing if the disc problem could be related to the headaches as well-
