mike others have more experience than i..however in my opinion 40 mgs of pred for a few days don't cut it..although it does get you a few nights of sleep...veralan (verapimil, calan)takes a bit (maybe 10 days?) to get into your system and have any real effect..i recall a post about which was better...sustained release or regular...check the archives under verapimil..should be lots of posts! and hang in bor..there is a light at the end of teh tunnel and it isn't a train!
