Thank you, Donna, for this great post. Well said. I still consider myself to be a "Newbie". I found this site quite by accident on the internet in the Library in Abilene, TX because my own computer was still being shipped to me.
I needed information; I found it.
I needed help; I found it.
I needed companionship in a way; I found it.
Most of all, I needed a shoulder to lean on and I found MANY of those who were willing to put their pain and suffering aside and allow me to blubber away.
I don't care if this sounds mushy, this site quite literally saved my life! An email here, a kind post there and even some amazing laughs can be found from time to time that I am happy to copy and send to friends and relatives.
My family has come to know some of you by name, also. I tell them what you write about on this site. I think this helps them to understand that my "condition" is not so wierd after all.
So yes, this site is a wonderful place to visit and I thank God everyday for allowing me to find it.
You may want to know why I'm saying this. I'm saying it all because I want everyone here to know how wonderful they are. What a great group of folks you all are!
