I was wondering if any other cluster headache sufferers here have the APS Syndrome as I do.It's also called Lupus Anti-Coagulant. I never really connected the two untill recently when I learned that the antibody causes the platelets to clump together abnormally. As they clump together they bump into each other cusing them to release or "dump" their stored load of serotonin into the bloodstream. I also just found out that there is a related auto immune antibdy called anti- serotonin. Choline is somehow connected also.
I go to see my endocrinologist tomorrow and may learn more.
