I have had this thing since 1990 and I am still trying to find the answer your looking for. I am sorry that my story can't be of more help to you but I ended up divorced with my only child living with my ex-husband, due to my health. All this crap does take it's toll eventually I think. I would recommend seeing a good therapist or family counsellor if I could...I know it would have helped me and my ex.
